We are a small family company, and our specialty is designer ceramics—mainly porcelain, produced in small batches, beautifully packaged, and available exclusively from us.

Why Silly Design?

We believe that good design doesn’t have to be too serious. It doesn’t hurt if it’s practical and affordable, either. :)

We playfully and provocatively break patterns.

Our goal is to make porcelain an everyday accessory, no longer associated with something expensive, fragile, and reserved for special occasions. Porcelain is the hardest and most durable ceramic material. It’s ecological, odorless, and tasteless. Our porcelain is designed to bring joy every day, which is why we use thicker porcelain, more resistant to chipping, and suitable for dishwasher use.

We want porcelain to also reach children, who, just like adults, are sensitive to beauty. How they eat is just as important to them as what they eat. For parents, it’s crucial that their child is in contact with an ecological, safe, and certified product. Both the porcelain and the paints used in production meet all safety standards and are approved for contact with food. Our children’s collections are ergonomic and designed especially for kids. They are beautifully packaged in boxes that can be reused for further play.

We are the importer and exclusive distributor of the Multiple Choice brand by TopChoice, a designer boutique manufacturer from Hong Kong. The production itself takes place in China, the birthplace of porcelain, which has been regarded for centuries as the place where the highest quality porcelain is made.

Here, you will find beautiful porcelain gifts, often in limited collector's quantities. Each piggy bank, gift mug, salt shaker, or children’s dish is beautifully factory-packed because we believe that the outside matters just as much as the inside.

In our store, you will also find world-famous Loqi bags, fairy-tale porcelain from Denmark's Miss Etoile, and iconic enamel mugs with Moomins from Muurla.
